2000 impala 3.8 high pitch squeal sometimes when idling and 5 or 6 seconds after turning engine off so would not be belts or pulleys with engine off, this happened after driving a while, all fluids are good, please will someone point me in the right direction, I can usually fix things if I know where to look Thanks

No idea. Has to something beside the engine, so I would look at a bad bushing in the electric fan, or a blower motor if you have A/C. Squeal is caused by two things rubbing together.

This board is dedicated to rear wheel drive V8 powered cars from the sixties; primarily, even though V8 powered rear wheel full size cars were made all the way up to 1996. These cars were called B-body cars by GM. You have a high trim optioned Lumina built on the front wheel drive W platform from GM.
