64 Impala all drum. Pulled hard left and pedal went soft, but still stopped. Checked master 1/2 empty . Refilled and tested in open parking lot and no pull and the level is staying. hung wheel cylinder???? THANKS
In a closed hydraulic system all brakes apply the same pressure simultaneously. Any pulling is usually a result of bad (worn) suspension parts or alignment issues. That assumes the system is closed. If you have a leaking wheel cylinder that wheel stops working as effectively so the other side pulls the wheel as you stop because it is the only one with full line pressure.
