How hard is it to change out the heater core?
67 Impala went to 230 degrees before turning it off today. After cooling radiator was half empty. The night before I noticed that the windows were fogging with the heater on and, Doh!, I never thought that it might be rad fluid!
Anyway, I'm thinking its a cracked core. I haven't went looking under the hood to see how the core is accessed. Is this an under the dash job or under the hood job? And is there any step by step instructions I can download?
