Vintage auto rear window sunshade

Has anyone ever saw one of these rear sunshades ? I believe it was an aftermarket piece back in 64' but not to sure. The original maker was "Sanco" and it looks like a venitian blind for the rear window.

If anyone has one or if they could lead me to the direction of getting one, i'd be highly appreciative !!!!

By the way, it's for my 64' Impala SS !

Thanks,

JD

The only one I've ever seen was on Accessory Freak's '64. He's a member here and on LIL. Maybe he'll see this and help.

That was a fairly rare accessory as I have seen very few cars with it even in sunny Florida. I would imagine a lot of wives nixed the idea of installing a set after having cleaned a few Venetian blinds in their homes.

LOL... It does sound like a funny concept of venetian blinds in a car, but like you said - not that many people have it & I like it alot ! Hopefully my wife won't be ****ed for paying a couple of hundred for it ...
