Friend of mine told me about this 67 he saw in the woods. Been there 5 to 6 years he says. Say's it's been shot at & beat up pretty bad, but the bumpers were good & it had a rearend in it.
Drove up & found it yesterday. It was sad. You could tell it was a nice car when it got dumped. I was able to get both bumpers, front is flawless. All I could salvage in stainless was 1 headlamp trim & corner piece, & 1 lower quarter stick. It was just disgusting to see the shotgun blasts to all the other components. Rear taillamp housings peppered.
I was able to get the rear seat center piece, but the impala emblem was gone. I also grabbed the 4 headlamp buckets.
We used a winch & flopped it on it's roof & cut ther rearend out with a torch.
What saddened me the most was, not a speck of rust on this car. Solid floors trunk & rockers. But the body was swiss cheese from shotguns.
Oh well.

There still should be a bunch of good parts left on that car. It sounds like the chassis and floor pans still should be good. Then there's parts like wiring harnesses, window and door regulators, door hinges, hood and trunk hinges, etc, etc.

I save every bolt. Once I'm done parting out a car, there's just about nothing left.
