69' 327sbc stock intake.

i would like to know if a 4bbl carb would fit on a stock 327 intake. im currently running a 2bbl carb. carb is edelbrock 600 with electric choke

stock intakes are usually a spread bore pattern (rear holes bigger than front), and the edlebrock is a squarebore (all 4 holes same size). you can get that carb to fit using an adapter. those adapters are around $20-$25.

If it's a 2-Barrel intake the carb will not fit. I have seen 2-Barrel to 4-Barrel adapters, but I would not recommend one.

An aluminum Holley 4150 square bore flange can be had on several different Corvette and Camaro SBC motors that will bolt right up to your 1969 327. The Z/28 is a common example, cast by Winters with the factory Snow Flake.

I agree, the 2bbl intake will not accept a 4bbl intake. This is a good opportunity to shed some dead weight and replace the cast iron intake with an modern aluminum intake like and eldlebrock performer.

Cast iron intakes are cheap say $20 or so. They work fine aluminum ones like to leak oil sometimes. 15 pounds less wait aint going to help very much stay castiron
