hey guys, got a strange one !
I assumed the reason my impala sat lower on the drivers side by about an inch and about 2 inches when I got in it, was my weight (250) and that the springs were sagged on that side from age, seemed logical ?
so I put new 2 inch lowered HD springs and shocks all round and to my suprise same dammed thing !
jacked the car up at the front with a small block of wood smack in the middle of the crossmember and it sits level at the back, did the same thing with the rear axle and it sits level at the front, put it back down on all four and it still sits down on the drivers side by about an inch again
swapped back springs around, checked that all the springs were locating right, body mounts look o.k., trailing arm bushes are decent, had a wheel alignment, front end is all o.k. and it drives fine ?
any ideas I haven't thought of ? apart from loosing weight or getting my wife to eat more krispy creams !
cheers
dave
