The wipers on my '64 won't go all the way down to the cowl after they've been shut off. They go all the way down when in operating mode. But after I turn them off they stop short of the cowl.

Do you mean below the glass? If so I don't think they should.

Yes...below the glass.

Mine dosen't either but I think that is the way it is.
