14" wheel w/ ss spinner hubcaps will not fit -Is this the truth? If so -Is there a wheel that will fit and allow me to use my period correct hubcaps?

That's true, they do rub. There are several companies that will modify your wheel or sell you ones that will work, but I went with alloys so I didnt pursue it. Maybe someone out there has used them. I see classicchevy.com has new ones that will work for $125, that means others will have them also.

That's a quandary I'm battling now myself. I would like to go back with OG 14" wheels on my '64. And in the future convert to disc brakes up front. But it seems conversion kits require 15" wheels. I did find a kit at Classic Performance Products that will work with 14" wheels. But am still unsure. I would hate to spend $$ on nice 14" mags then not be able to convert to disc.
This doesn't help you though. Hope you find a solution to your problem. Let us know.

Hi guys, been awhile. You can get 14" Nova,Chevelle,or Camaro wheels that will work .Also your hubcaps will work as well.I believe those wheels are from either 1968,1969,1970 year cars. Also I believe 14" full size 1969 and 1970 full size Chevy wheels will work. Those cars were avialiable with disc brakes. In 1971 the Chevy Big Bodies went to 15" wheels. John :hurray:
