69, what fits what? interchange

1969 Custom Coupe w SBC. Need a windshield ,hood and deck lid + Maybe both front fenders for a 69 coupe. What years interchange?

Welcome to my world!!! The Hood and windshield interchange with 70. The fenders stand alone. 69 the bumper sort of encompasses the front end. 70 it's more conventional along the bottom of the grill. Deck lids are the same 69-70,BUT Custom coupe and Caprice lids are longer than Sedan,Sport coupe,and Convertible. They also have a depression in the middle. Good luck with your search I have a 70 conv. that has been a real problem locating parts that I bought a complete other car. But I can give you a positive note....They do repop a 69 battery tray. Nobody makes one for the 70,there is one that is close,but requires some "massaging" and hole relocating.

The windshield may also interchange with the 4-Door Hardtop, but I would have to check my book to be sure. But with windshields it's really better to go with a new one, if they are available. Check with your local Auto Glass shop.

Sorry to disagree Gary, but the '69 Hood and the '70 Hood are different from each other.

Look to see if you can find a Hollander Interchange manual online. It is the definitive source for what interchanges with what. For 1969 they where big bound books that sell on e-Bay for about $75-100 bucks if you can find them.
