Is there any way to tell a factory ss car in the 1967 year, can you tell by the vin numbers?? I was talking to guy the other day and he said he has 2 67 convertibles he wants to get rid of but was not sure if they where ss or not. is there any valve in these cars as projects as iam sure they need work. Yes there is. If you can get the info, post the vin# and info off the trim tag on the firewall from each car. Then we can decode it and figure out if it is a SS or a plain impala convertible.
