Hello All.

Just started a disc brake conversion and poly bushings on the front end of my 66 Belair. This is a car that I bought last fall and haven't driven yet either. While disassembling the front end I noticed that the drivers side lower control arm is bent really bad. So I need another one. Can anyone tell me which years of cars I can get the arm from? And did all 6 cylinder cars have a sway bar?

Anyone here from Canada happen to have a spare one kicking around?

Thanks guys!

I am confident that at least the first three years of this series 65-66-67 will work, maybe more. Actually I didn't think that any 6 cyl cars had front sway bars, so if you have one you will need to source your control arm from another car that had one as those non-equipped ones didn't even have the mounting plate welded on.

The same lower control arm bushings are used from 65-70 so the arms may be the same but not 100% sure.

There's a used set from a 68 on eBay right now:

art,
'65-'70 upper and lower arms are the same, other than the 6 cylinder lower arms don't have the sway bar bracket. i have a pair of '66 lower arms on my '69 bel air. it was originally a 6 cyl car, it didn't have sway bar brackets attached to the lower arms.

Hey great guys ... thanks for the information. I saved the ebay auction, but have a few leads from my area too. My 66 is a 6 cyl car with the heavy duty option ... sway bar, 12 bolt and four link.

Thanks again
