Looking into a 9in or 12bolt. Whats your thoughts? shortened or stock length? i would like to run a 10in wheel with 5.5 in backspace. Do i need to mini tub?

I got 18x9 with 4.75 back space on mine with the stock rear. there is enough room to go with your 10" and 5.5" backspace without mini-tubs. BUT I think it would make routing exhaust a little more challenging. Shortening the rear would allow less back space for a deeper dish which always looks cool though.
