I have an 02 impala and the factory stereo deck came without a cd player and i was wondering if i was to purchase a used factory stereo deck with a cd player in it if it would fit without purchasing any additional parts. If not, what all would i need. If so, could you give me an idea of the level of difficulty involved in this process. Also a referal to a site with a step-by-step would be great or some type of instructions to show how the removal process goes. I have some what of an idea of how to remove the old one, but I can always use the extra help. Thanks in advance.

That one has a warranty and that's a good thing. But buyer beware, the CD players on those things go bad so watch out for used ones. I had a '94 Impala SS I bought new and the CD player went out after a few years. ;)
