I have a 1961 IMPALA convertible built in canada. I lost a hubcap and have had problems replacing it. the hubcaps on the car have the claws to hold them on the rim. the hubcaps that I have found have a ring to hold them on. Has anyone heard of this situation.

I'm far from a Hub Cap expert, but I do know that there were more than one supplier to GM. I believe there were 2 or 3 different designs as far as how there were fastened on.

Also if you are running Radial Tires you will find that the caps will not stay on as good compared to running Bias Ply.
