Courtesy lights

How about this one. . .My courtesy lights won't shut off. I have new switches on the door lights. I unplug the switches and they are still on. :confused: Does this sound like a ground problem?

Not sure if that is the problem but the headlight switch in my car when turned all the way to the left, turns the courtesy light on. Maybe it is just that?

Nope not that. Brand new headlight switch. The old one was sloppy and thought that might be it. I replaced it.

They are grounding somewhere else. The door switches complete the ground when open. Trace the white leads. If you have courtesy lights in the back sail panels the wires also go under the carpeting.

It's gotta be behind the dash then. It's a convertible. The two lights are under the dash and the rear of the console. At least I have a starting point. Thanks.
