new here, I found place last week but just now have posting privies.

my 1st car was a 69 impala 327/auto.
never made it through inspection before I totaled it, also had a 66 396 that I turned into a stockcar..............yeah my dad wanted to kill me too! :o


I am looking for another 66 currently. I know where theres a 66 "fastback" with a 350/ 3spd stick hmmmm. but I really want a caprice post BB/4SPD.

There were not a lot of post cars built that meet your specs of BBC and 4 spd. That implies an SS, and most were two door Impala hard tops, not the Biscuit your looking for. Could happen they built a few COPO 427-425 horse versions in Biscayne's for street racers, and there may have been a farmer that needed a 390 horse 427 to cover dual duty as a pick-up truck and family car. Though your best chance, in my opinion, will be for a 325 horse 396 in a Biscayne.
