overdrive transPlavi 64 01-22-2007, 08:20 PM currently I have a 327 ci hooked up to a 350th trans with 2400 holeshot converter running 355 gears. I would like to know if anyone has a 1964 with a 700R installed ? How difficult is it to install and what will I need to get it in ? thanks Jim Big Dave 01-22-2007, 08:34 PM The trannys are interchangeable but I am not sure about tunnel clearance on a '64 so I will let others adress that part. 77 cruiser 02-24-2007, 12:41 AM 200-4r will bolt in & it's the same length as a short shaft 350, but you'll have to move the X member back about 6 inches. Again not sure on the tunnel but I don't think they're as fat as a 700. Jim | |
