Hey can some one direct me in the right direction here... I need to replace the middle body mounts that are in the center of the trunk lol the ones that seem to always go bad.. Im a welder so this isnt a porblem if I have to fab my own up but I was curious if there was a weld in section for that.. Also the rear body mounts by the rear bumper. Mine isnt to bad but I would rather not cut corners or do shady work.. I looked in year one and classic industires but didnt seem to find the section I needed ..

They are marked left and right. The curve side faces the tire. There is a sheet metal shield that isn't provived you will need to fabercated it.

Sweet thanks.. Did u happen to c the rear section also? Where the rear part of the frame ties together there is 2 mounts u can c them when the bumper is pulled off. I just need that long piece that has the mounts in it that runs the length of the rear.

Thanks so you just line it up with the wheel well and tac it is that the only contact point for it or does it get tact at the top 2 and the back side of the trunk ? Someone just cut out perfect little squares to get to mine the rest of the trunck is fine minus the spare tire bottom.

It welds to the trunk shelf at the rear near the upper part or the trunk floor piece, then to the fabercated piece that you will make which is just a flat sheet metal curved to match the mounting bracket. That will tie in the wheel well. I hope this makes sense to you I think when you start putting it back in you will see how it goes.

Thats a lot of work believe me. Start cutting the old one out from underneath there are braces you don't want cut. I don't think they are reproduced. You will see them from the bottom side tho. Also take measurement the gas tank mounts don't come with the new pieces, neither does the tire hold down.

I got a couple of patch panels (ds rear qtr, trunk drop off, ds door, outer rocker) from oldmusclecars.com . Better price than all other catalogs, reasonable shipping, good quality, and great customer service.
