What do you do with the roof's sound deadner? I intend to have my 66 Impala media blasted. Is the deadener replaceable if I remove it? It seems to be glued on and it doesn't look like you would be able to reinsert new material over the cross members. Is there a recommended modern material to use? Thanks.

I put JUTE padding back in them,the same stuff you put under the carpet.
You canget it at your local upholstery shop's or upholstery supply store.
