What size drag slicks will fit on my 1966 Impala. Stock 10 bolt. I have a set of 15x7 steels, need slicks

You should be able to stuff a 10.5 inch radial slick inside the wheel well on an eight inch wheel if you have the correct back spacing.

You're putting slicks on a 3800lb car with a stock 10 bolt?

would you be offended if I started a pool and asked you to let us know how many runs you get before it breaks?

you know i'm just makin' fun but it is just a matter of time for that rear-end and maybe the tranny depending upon what you got.

as for the slicks....I think you might be able to get away with some 275's on that 7" rim, assuming a large sidewall for flex.

I agree with BA here its only a matter of time till that rear end explodes.

I had 50's on my 15X10 ET's Chrome mags with correct back spacing back in the 80's with my 12 bolt with coil spacers and air shocks so it wouldn't rub.
