What size drag slicks will fit on my 1966 Impala. Stock 10 bolt. I have a set of 15x7 steels, need slicks

You should be able to stuff a 10.5 inch radial slick inside the wheel well on an eight inch wheel if you have the correct back spacing.

You're putting slicks on a 3800lb car with a stock 10 bolt?would you be offended if I started a pool and asked you to let us know how many runs you get before it breaks? ![]() . . . you know i'm just makin' fun but it is just a matter of time for that rear-end and maybe the tranny depending upon what you got. as for the slicks....I think you might be able to get away with some 275's on that 7" rim, assuming a large sidewall for flex. I agree with BA here its only a matter of time till that rear end explodes.
I had 50's on my 15X10 ET's Chrome mags with correct back spacing back in the 80's with my 12 bolt with coil spacers and air shocks so it wouldn't rub. Shown here
