Big block carburetor

Was wondering if I could get advice. My 67 396 /325 has a quadrajet, but am interested in changing to a Holley. Wondering if anyone has used a Holley 700-750cfm that bolts right on the stock manifold. I had a nice running 4160 but it had an adapter and there was not enough hood clearance as I want to use the stock air cleaner. Thanks in advance. Jim

Holley used to make a direct replacement for the QuadraJet but using the modular Holley design.

Here is a rebuilt one for sale:

Find yourself a reputable Q-Jet rebuilder and have yours rebuilt.
