Or use 3/8 inch link chain to restrain the lower control arm so that it can not move.

Aloha from Kauai Hawaii gentlemen. I just joined the group. I had a question about upper control arm shafts. I there a way to remove and change them without removing upper control arm. All the bushings are new but I have to change to offset shafts in order to get the rest of the camber that I'm experiencing on the front end because of the drop spindles I installed.
Mahalo in advance.

Welcome to the Team!

Safest way involves about four hours of work. Take it all apart install the parts you want and reassemble it.

When I mention chaining the lower control arm that involves not only immobilizing the control arm; but includes the whole car. I had a front end up grade to my drive on lift (which asks do you have the same?). It allowed me to chain the arm to the rest of the front end, and the car to the lift so that noting moved.
