Best disc brake kit for 1963 Impala?

Ready to buy a front disc brake conversion kit and looking for suggestions on which kit to buy. All the catalogs have them and they're all over eBay.

I'd like to stick with my current 14" wheels if possible, but if I have to change them I will.

I will need a complete kit, including brake lines and booster. Don't know if I want to go power brakes or standard brakes, don't really care but if the price is similar I'll probably go power.

Obviously I'm looking for a good kit for the best price.

I put Cpp 13" discs on my 63 but can not run anythig under 17" wheels. I think you could go 10" for sure and maybe 11" with the right wheels.

I think 10.5" rotors will fit 14" wheels. If you go 11" you need to have at least 15" wheels. Some companies sell special kits that are advertised to fit 14" wheels.

ABS Power Brake has a kit, look at page 22 of the catalog here

The kit that claims to have no offset (many kits will move the wheels out an inch or two which can cause tire rubbing on the inner fender well ) and will fit 13 and 14" wheels.

You might want to look into this guy, he sells some kits using Wilwood calipers which look pretty cool

Bought a kit from . Nice looking complete kit for $399 shipped plus I bought new hard brake lines up front since the stock ones won't work with the new master cylinder.

Hopefully the install won't kick my butt too badly. Lots of rusty bolts under there, and I'll be replacing all of the suspension (except springs) while I'm at it.
