Body painted Steel wheels

Anyone running Body color painted steel wheels with poverty caps on their 60s impala?

I think I may....

Some ideas...

I know it's not an impala

and a dodge

Currently have some aluminum 17" wheels I'm not a fan of these. I think the painted wheel with the cap looks cool.

I do like the look of a painted steel wheel and a dog-dish cap. I almost did do that but sort of at the last minute went with some 17" Vintage Wheel Works with that late 60's bead-blasted Torque Thrust look.

Wheels

If the car was ordered with full wheel covers or any of the optional wheel covers the rims were black, poverty covers wheels were body color.

Not to many steel wheels in 15x8 outside of a Rally wheel.

Further reading some of the reviews the Wheel Vintiques are made in the USA and sound like they are well made for the money.

So I bought 2 of the Steel 15x8 wheels (paint them later) and a Milestar Streetsteel ($102 shipped) 245-60R15 tire.

Had it mounted and I bolted it on to check fitment to see if I want them on all 4 corners.. not sure I want staggered

It's about 26" tall and about 9.5" wide. No issues fitting on my 66 Impala but I may want a tire that's a little wider.

other brand 255/60s have around the same spec...

I wonder if this will fit in the front?

Love the painted look, and for me, that bottom right cap.
