Headlight Aiming

Whats the correct procedure to aim the headlights on my '62. The car has been lowered if that matters. Just replaced the original sealed beams with LED sealed units that are a direct fit and they work great but I'd like to properly align them so I don't blind the other guy!!
Watched a generic video that says on level ground and 25' away from a wall, mark with tape the center line height of the bulbs (in this case 25") and adjust to where the top of the bright circle is about 4" lower than that. Sound right?? Thanks

I've heard of the 25' measurement rule also. Sounds right to me as an excellent starting point. I would then adjust based upon how far you can see well in front of you while driving.

The '63 Assembly manual (for the original type headlights) says; high beam 2" below horizontal (+, -, 1") at 25 feet. Low beam; top edge of hot spot 0" (+,- 1") at 25 feet. For the horizontal, the lights should point a little towards the right (away from the on-coming cars). The manual only gave angle; .2 degrees right. At 25 feet that's about 1" (if I did the trig properly)

For the brighter newer lights it sounds reasonable to point a little lower and perhaps a little more to the right.
