Here is a pic of my dad's 70 Impala with the 400 engine. Probably taken in the late 70's.

No, long gone. My dad gave me a choice between the 70 and the 64. I chose the 64 with it's 283, and I still have that. Probably just as well, I might have killed myself with that 400 engine . That 70 did have the biggest trunk I had ever seen!

That is an Interesting wagon. Bright red so you can see it and floating on an air ride suspension. Most intriguing are the call out on engine size on the fenders.

Is it just me or do vintages look even more stunning as they continue to age? I think older models are way more attractive as compared to newer ones. I am not saying that the new models are not any nicer, but older ones are definitely the ones with the killer looks.

keep the pictures coming guys. And I'll agree with that statement about vintage vehicles. There's just something about the look of cars that makes them really look more and more appealing as the more modern cars come out. It's the insurance rates for owning a car like this and the maintenance that will kill you though!

Insurance on these great old cars, here in the US anyway, is actually pretty cheap. In comparison to everyday coverage anyway.
