Any 4 door veterans out there?

I'm newer to the forum...I was wondering if there are any 4 door experts out there? I'm working on a 1962 4 door and I have a bunch of questions for someone that has done a full restoration. Maybe there are some good 4 door threads out there?

I'm wondering about if some parts exist...and if some of the things I'm looking for can be used from 2 door models...I have all the catalogs etc...but sometimes it is not clear.

Been making some great progress lately with my girls!

Thanks!

Right now I'm specifically trying to find door parts...vent glass, vent glass rubber, weather strip, arm rests and a few other things.

Look thru here; you may find some helpful stuff:

My 1964 Impala Restoration

That's not my car, but dcairns posts on this forum routinely.

I have a 63 Impala convertible but still found useful info on that site.

Hi, and welcome. I am currently getting my 64 4 door back on the road. I am not going with the full restoration. Building more of a cruiser/ hot rod. There's a great place to try for some of those parts. https://chevysupplyofassonet.com/ . He is very knowledgeable. I got a hood from him not too long ago that was louvered. Has a lot of hard to find parts.

I didn't respond earlier as I am in Virginia and you are in Oregon, about 2800 Miles away. East Coast to West Coast shipping has gotten pretty expensive lately. But if you need something small, it still is reasonable. That said, I am parting out 39 '61-'64 cars as well as many other '53 to '73 Full Size Chevy cars. Also have 1000's of misc Full Size parts.

This is good to know. Looking for a manual setup to convert from the powerglide.

Not to hi-jack the thread, but would this be for your '64?

Here's one vendor:

https://www.4speedconversions.com/64_fullsize.html

All the parts I bought from them for my 63 were great.
