Potential junkyard goldmine found

This last weekend I answered a Craigslist post for old wagons; turns out the guy had a bit more than that available!

I walked thru the yard with him...6.5 acres he claims. He had old Bonneville Catalina convertibles, Cadillac convertibles, Impalas, El Caminos, Delmont 88, Corvairs, and a handful of station wagons from at least 1960-1970, and a bunch of other stuff. Some of the stuff has been sitting in the same place for at least 20 years, you can tell by the big tree trunk in front of the car! Not everything is a keeper as I did see small rustholes in roofs and hoods, but there is a ton of good sheetmetal out there otherwise.

The issue is he's retiring and now thinning it all out. The owner realizes the value of the stuff but he wants it gone so he can work on his own projects. What doesn't sell will be crushed. Not everything there is worth salvaging, but you won't know until you go. Owner has given me permission to post contact info.

My uncle is driving back home in Austin next week after we finished installing the brake pads and xd series wheels on his truck. He recently retired and might interested getting a nice project. I'm gonna pass that contact to him.

Is he from Austin? Tell him it's off Parmer about a mile from Samsung.
