rear fender antenna

Does anyone know how to route the antenna cable from the back of the radio to the rear fender antenna.

My interior is bare & I need to install the cable before the insulation/carpet.

From memory (which is often wrong) it goes from under the dash down to the door sill along the passenger side under the passenger side rear seat side cover to under the rear seat exiting into the trunk up to the antenna. Only one of the two rear antennas was real (implying the second was a dummy). I don't know why two antennas couldn't be used in tandem, but I am not an I E and wasn't good enough in math to decipher half the stuff I was taught about circuits. Thankfully I got through circuits before the transistor was introduced to the general public.

I don't know about 65, but in 64 there were plastic wire trays on both sides.

You can see the black plastic wire trays running along the floor on each side in this picture.

Mine has the rear antannae from the factory and the coax runs in the wire trough on the passenger side of the floor.
Mine may have had the dummy Dave speaks of,but the hole has been filled on the left rear quarter.
There's a 3-way splitter on the right side with one un-used end.

On my 65 the cable runs on top of the floorboards under the carpet on the passenger side and through a metal channel under the back seat.

That's what I was trying to say dadstoy.Your explanation came out better!
This is the same area like the wire ribbon uses on the drivers side and if you have vacuum trunk release or vacuum door locks,it's where the vacuum lines run too.
