1969 impala front bumper filler rubber seals

Hello all. There is always a first time for everything so here it goes. I have been lokgin around the web for months but cannot find this information:

Where do the 1969 IMPALA FRONT BUMPER FILLER RUBBER SEALS go? Here is a link to the part I am talking about: http://www.impalas.com/bumpers-bumpe...air/w2506.html

My 69 Sedan (with the B pillar) build is getting close to complete and there are a few things I am still missing, so any help on getting any of these is appreciated:

- Missing both bumper fillers, or bumper panels. The pieces that go under the headlights and cover that space between the lights and the bumper. All I see is an old listing on ebay that still shows on google . Since March, and this is May 29th.

- Missing the kickpanels. all 6 of them. I will be cutting some black carpet and using carpet to cover the are where the kickpanels go, because I really cannot find them.

Missing front and rear glasses (windshields) exterior molding. I would prefer to use a wide rubber that would fit on the channel. Goes better with the batmobile style I am going for on my resto-mod. Any ideas on what to use, or where to find the metal moldings?

- Lock set. I see it everywhere, but cannot figure out how ti install it. My trunk lock was loose and I took it out before it fell off, and now I cant put it back in. Anyone know how to do that? Same for the doors and glove box, as I dont have a key for those. Ignition works well.

- Dash. Nothing works on the dash. Only a few lights. I am thinking Ill have to take the car to an electrician, or buy a harness and replace the entire harness on the thing. But so much work and money... IThat is a hard one to decide.

Thanks for any help. Ill post some pics soon.

Welcome to the Team Mauricio!

I can tell you you are missing a rubber gasket that holds the trunk lock in place and seals out the water. For the rest of your questions I think you need to read a 1969 Impala Assembly manual, as it shows a digram and lists the part numbers of all of the discontinued parts that you need to bolt it back together. (it even lists the torque value of every nut bolt and screw).

Here is the Chassis Service manual that tells you how to repair the rear end, brakes, shocks, springs, and body bushings; as well as overhaul the tranny.

Here is the Fisher Body Repair manual that tells you where and how all of those rubber parts go; as well as the kick panels and the parts behind the headlights.

Here is your missing Assembly Manual:

and all you need now is the Service manual that tells the line mechanic how to fix everything on the car including a motor overhaul.

And here is a scanned copy, page by page, of all of the above Chevrolet factory paper manuals you need on a single (or multiple) CD's including the Parts manual:

Personally I prefer the soft bound paper manuals when I can find them.

For the kick panels, have you been looking on E-bay. There are a few up there. Just search on "69 Impala kick panel". I don't know where we would be these days without E-bay!
