66 front windshield trim is coming loose

The trim on upper passenger side is coming loose in the corner. Is there supposed to be some retainer clips that hold it in? I have never worked on these before and don't know how they are attached.

Most restoration places sell them. Some of our sponsors here on this website. Or if you have a local auto parts store that sells auto body paint and supplies, they will have them or can get them.

Thanks. Is there a procedure for removing the trim pieces without damaging them?

Yea, its a special tool just for the clips. Not expensive. Should be able to buy one where you get the clips. Tool goes under the chrome trim and catches the clip and bends it away enough to release the chrome trim.
