After many questions on your forums, many times and money I've worked a little bit on my car!
Many things that we can't see, details... I've tried to clean under the hood, exit header, welcome ceramic exhaust manifolds, new aluminum head covers, new gaskets (engine, transmission...) to try to stop or limit leaks. I bought blue thick gaskets, nice finish with metal inserts.
I bit of paint on the engine, and all around. New fresh paint on chassis and drivetrains. Poly bushings from energy suspension and PST front end kit.
Front disc brakes conversion with 12.19" Wilwood rotors, 15/16" bore size master cylinder, new rear HD drum brake shoes, wheel cylinders and hardware.
New front door panels too, not easy to do. All these things for to drive safer and more pleasure to drive. It's not the most beautiful '66 impala of the world but I love it, I'm very impatient to go drive with it!
I had a lot of problems due to my competences carences, tools missings, sometimes I losted motivation, the cold temperatures of the winter...
Now the sun is back but I thought that I had repair transmission leaks with new gasket but bad Luke, the oil pan is broken! I've found new one in France but with a bigger contenance.
