new member with a 1963 Impala SS

Hi guys,

Just wanted to introduce myself. I inherited my Uncle Bruce's 1963 Impala SS a few months ago when he passed away unexpectedly. Sort of sad as he had always said he intended to leave it to me, but that wasn't supposed to be for another 20 or 30 years.

Anyhow, I've helped him work on it countless times over the years, and I'm a Chevy guy at heart. I have an Audi also, and have learned a lot from Audiworld, so I figured I would find an Impala forum now that I have one. Seems like there are a lot of knowledgeable guys here, and I'm looking forward to getting to know everyone.

As I mentioned in the subject line, my Impala is a 63 Impala SS coupe. Color is Roman Red. It has a 327/300hp that came out of a 1966 Corvette. Only performance mods are an edelbrock intake manifold and a Holley carb. It's in very good shape overall, but does need a bit of body work and paint job. My first project is rebuilding the front suspension.

I have a 64 ss, someday I hope to have a 63 as well. Oh yea, don't forget about the 62. That would be a nice fleet.
