1966 Impala Conv.

New Impala owner.
1966 Conv Impala - 396 4 spd

Can someone help decode the cowl tag:
10B D
ST 66 - 16467 STL 000268
TR 871-A R-1
W2 L R
4F5Y 116875

I know that is was made in October 2nd week. Not sure what the D is for next to it. It was the 268 body that week with Regal Red / White top. St. Louis plant my problem is the accessory codes. Any help??

I am going to look for the build sheet starting under the front / back seat anywhere else?

Just posted some pictures in the showroom.

I'm not a numbers expert but I know a great looking car when I see it!!

Nice ride Alice!

if you're bored you can peruse the Tag Team forum for other folks 65 tag info that's been deciphered already.
The only piece I really know is on your line W2 L R - The 'R' is for rear speaker.
Oh, and the '4F' of 4F5Y is "comfort and convenience group".

Those two pieces of info match my own tag which was decoded in another thread.

Welcome to the Team Alice!

W = Tinted Windows
2 means second option group
L = M20 (that is the RPO code for a four speed. 1967 that was a Muncie box)
R = rear Speaker
4 means option group four
F = Comfort and Convience package (more interior lights than just the dome light)
5 means from group five
Y = Deluxe seat belts
116875 This is the Fisher Body internal audit code and has no bearing on the VIN

Some additional info:

The 116875 number would also be the same number on the top right hand corner of the original window sticker.
