Newby in Phoenix

Hello all, I am Mark and I have a 1968 Implala SS convertible 396 cid 325 hp.It is a numbers matching car. If it hadn't been painted in the past, it would be a running and driving survivor, but is in need of a complete restoration. I am a retired Firefighter and a life long car nut and wrencher. I look forward to diving into the collective knowledge of this forum. I also hope to contribute what I know. I think that I may start a build thread on the old girl. Here is a pic I took today:

Very cool - man you are in for a lot o' work there! Going to be beautiful when you're done though, congrats on getting it.

I'd tell ya to check out my build thread in my signature but it seems my hosted pictures started getting blocked at some point so I gotta look into that issue.

Very nice. Looks and sounds almost identical to mine when I first got it; I have since nullified the originality of mine in the process of restomoding it. Runs great though. Ask away! There is a TON of knowledge on this site.
