New on the forum

Hi there,

New on the forum so a little introduction. My name is Jake and I live in Holland, The Netherlands. Since October last year I own a 67 Impala SS with a 402-TH400. Engine rebuilt with new Edelbrock carb, Merlin intake, Hooker headers, HEI, Flowmaster. Red on red, black vinyl top, buckets and console. PS.
The car was imported by me from your great country, it came from WI but originally was a CA car except for the last year. It is in great shape, no real issues.

I will have some questions in the future since I am planning some upgrades:

1- Installing Disc Brakes up front. I'll post some pics of this conversion.
2- Furthermore I would like to sort out my steering column, doesn't feel smooth when turning. Not sure what's wrong there. Also I would like to tighten up the steering, it's too vague now.
3-Upgrade my 12 bolt with a posi unit.
4-Finally I would like to upgrade the 3 speed TH400 to an overdrive unit ( 700R4 or 460LE ??) for the highway
5-Fix the heater/blower

Hope to enjoy this forum and looking forward to your advice!
Jake

Befor I owned a Wagoneer and Buick Wildcat. You can see them on cardomain.com profile 66Wildcat

Great looking car, welcome to the site.

I'm guessing you are used to rack and pinion steering.

Very nice car, same exact color and vinly top that I am restoring my 67 ss. Any more photos you want to share? There are many of the interior and exterior molding parts that I am not 100% sure where or how they look on the car. I have most of the molding but would be nice to see what they look like on the car.
