Adding fuel return line to a 61

I have recently replaced my fuel tank and sender unit, however have now decided I will probably go for an injection carb at a later date. The 61 fuel sender doesn’t have a return line pipe and I’m thinking before I refuel the tank it’s probably easier to drop the tank now and do any necessary mods. What’s are my options, add a fitting to the current sender plate or is there a later model sender unit that has a return and will fit? Current fuel line is 3/8”

I know the 409 and 327 got a return line in 1963 so you may be able to use a sending unit from a 1963 with return line. Just be careful which one you get as the 4 banger, 6 cylinder, and 283 V8 do not have the return line.

A 62 with 409 fuel sender may also have a return line.
