EFI Question

This question is for anyone who has installed EFI in their cars. I am going with the Holley EFI and I'm reading through the directions before I start.

The directions say a fuel return line and bulkhead must be installed in the tank and that it must extend down into the fuel to prevent cavitation, bubbles, etc. from being picked up and sent to the fuel pump.

The stock fuel tank on my car already has a return provision that extends to the back inside of the tank as far from the fuel pickup as possible. Is the bulkhead, etc. still necessary or even possible since the tank sits flush with the underside of the trunk pan?

Thanks for any replies.

If it hasa return line now that should be good enough. If you are worried about it or aerating the fuel when it gets lower in the tank use a mat pick up system instead of the stock tube and filter sock.
