Help identifying interior part and color

Does anyone know the name of this part?. It is metal and sits between the rear seat back and the door panel. It looks kind of rusty and I would like to clean it up over the winter.

Does this part get painted ermine white like the exterior of the car?

Thanks for your time.

Donít know what the color is. But I believe itís called a backrest filler panel. But the ones Iíve seen are painted the same color as the interior.

Right, Rear Seat Filler Panel.

Also correct on the paint. Same color as the Interior.

You need to take out the Rear Seat to get at the Screws that is holding it on.

I believe it is a semi gloss on the interior and not a full on gloss of your interior color.
