1966 bucket seat bracket mounts

I am putting '66 buckets in a bench seat '65 floorpan. I bought some brackets from Classic and bolted them to the tracks. Then I started to line up the seat and it sat to high on the outside and tilted down towards the trans tunnel. I also found that the spread was not wide enough so that the front of the inside track bracket will sit flush on the floorpan contour.

I looked at it again, took the outside track bracket off and bolted the track alone directly to the holes that the bench seat bolted to. Now it sits level but the front of the inside bracket still hangs over the floorpan contour. Lets just say that only 75 % of the bracket is touching the floorpan. I looked at the floor of a bucket seat '65 today and the brackets look the same but they were wider apart and fit flush everywere to the floor pan. I am using a '66 and a total different bucket. I think these brackets will only work for a 1965 bucket seat.

Does anyone out there have a '66 bucket car and can you please tell me if the outside tracks bolt directly to the floor and if the inside tracks use nuts onto studs coming through some brackets or are the inside ones also bolted to the floor.
I would really appreciate the help...
