Rear seat for 1965 Impala 4 door pillarless

I have a 1965 Impala 4 door, pillarless. When i got it the rear seat had been removed. Im looking for a replacement. The local yard has a 1968 Impala 4 door with a decent recoverable seat, with the seat from the 68 fit? What seats would fit? Thanks in advance, i'm new here, just bought the car last week. Thanks

I think it will fit.Doesn't the 68 have the same roofline as the 65?
I have a spare back seat back from a 65 Buick sport sedan and it fits in my 65 Caprice. And I have a 67 Impala 2 door hardtop. The 67 floors and inner quarter area look to be the same construction.
Maybe you could take your car to the yard and they'll let you try the seat?

Welcome to the Team Eric!

I do not know if the four door has the rear seat speaker in the middle like the two door does (since they are essentially convertibles with a permanently attached hard top). and the convertible is built that way because the top folds into the area where the rear package tray would be on a sedan car (a car with a center post).

Thanks guys! I ended up with a seat bottom from a 66 sedan and a seat back from the 68 impala 4 door hardtop. I can confirm the seats are the same in the sedan and 4 door hardtop. The yard also had a 66 2 door sedan and I can confirm that the seat is slightly different in those.
