Looking to buy 64 Impala!!

Hey Guys new to the site I am looking to buy a 64 Impala but am trying to do my homework first. I was told this is a Canadian made Impala but the Vin doesn't start with a 5

VIN # G.M. Canada
41847075848

And the Cowl Tag is as follows

STYLE 1847 1-5-20
BODY NO. 175373
PAINT 2F
TRIM 842
B7OU63

Cant seem to find the paint details or option details any help would be appreciated. I want to make sure of what I am buying before I do. Also it says this is an 8 cylinder car I believe but how do you tell which type of 8 was originally put in.

Thanks in advance for your help. Steve

I am no expert on these things, but the way that VIN tag is attached looks odd. Perhaps giving some credence to it being Canadian.
This is what my VIN tag looks like (California built 64 Impala).

Wrong time period. Metric was pushed by the naval nuclear engineer named Jimmy Carter. A two liter coke is from Carter's Disco generation. Your car was built in Lyndon B. Johnson's Great Society.

I have a 63 impala convertible from Canada and my vin tag has the same rivets as that 64. A 64 impalas vin would start with a 4, 63 starts with a 3 and so on.
