Part to connect turn signal cable with lever mecha

Hey this is Tom from Germany,

I’m looking for a obviously very hard to find part for my 66 Impala with tilt steering. Attached you can see a picture of the steering column. Hope you see which part is missing to connect the turn signal cable (circled) with the turn signal lever mechanism.

Already asked many online shops but sadly no one knows about it.

If you just know how the part is called this would help me a lot too.

Thank you very much for your help.

Best regards Tom

Does this help? I think you are better off replacing the entire assembly.

Hi Tom, welcome to the site.

I did not see anything circled in the picture.

I've spent hours upon hours inside my non-tilt column and I have to say I'm surprised to hear you say that there's a cable in there. Even when I consider the movement of a tilt column - I'm not visualizing where or why a cable would be needed.

Any change that it's lost in translation?
