Rock Auto Close Out Sale

RockAuto the on-line auto parts store that lists American made parts first before offering the cheaper lower quality off shore parts is having a close out sale on the 1967-'69 Camaro parts list. A lot of these parts for sale are the same parts that appear and are used on your Big Chevys.

Please note that they are unloading V-belts which are getting hard to find in anything but a fractional horsepower rating (do you really want a washing machine belt spinning to 6,400 RPM on your water pump?). Other commonly used items include light bulbs and brake parts (small parts repair kits for drum brakes are getting scarce).

I don't have any stock or interest other than the fact that they buy American made parts first which gives me a warm fuzzy and motivates me to patronize them.

Boy, the prices are very, very reasonable and some are downright cheap.

I sure hope that this doesn't mean they won't be carrying these parts anymore.

Rock Auto is a great place to deal with.

If I had to guess I would say yes it does imply they are dropping these items from inventory as they probably can not justify the shelf space based upon volume of turns per business cycle.

Those pistons are factory original OEM parts that had a made by TRW logo on top back in the day.

I am loading up on brake springs and clips and other small parts for drum brakes as they are not sold by a lot of vendors now and you will need them at some point as the originals rust away.
