66 Impala trunk lid

Can someone tell me if a 66 Impala 4-dr sedan trunk lid will fit a 2-dr hardtop?

Nope, won't work. 2dr ht and Conv uses a Hollander number 818, all others use a Hollander number 819.

Thanks, Dave. I looked online but couldn't find any information. I'll have to bookmark the Hollander site.

Won't do you any good. They stopped selling to individuals decades ago. Now you have to buy an annual computer subscription, and It costs way to much for a home hobbiest to do you any good.

Look on line for an old used 32nd edition (1966) Hollander book. Here is one that looks to be brand new. No grease or grime with clean pages. Cheap at twice the price.

The 4 door version is like 7" longer, believe it or not, than the coupe lid. I bought one anyway, as it had all the trim on it that would cost more than the lid did. I'm going to shorten it to fit, or at the very least use the end of the skeleton, as mine is too rotted. If the outside skin has been compromised (like the rest of the body!) I'll splice the whole thing together, the hard part will be making the inner part match up.
