348 All Prepped

Degreased, gaskets replaced, and painted except for the generator that'll be replaced with an alternator. This'll sit until I finish with the '58 Impala upgrades ie, Power disc brakes, power steering, and complete wiring.

Nice. I need to do this on my 65. Maybe this winter.

Two doors, four doors, wagons, and ragtops.

That should brighten the engine bay. Is this an original 1958 engine? The 1958 348 didn't have the added cooling around the plugs that were added in 1959. Just something to be careful of if you ever start looking at upgrades or rebuilding.

It's actually out of a '60 wagon that I bought primarily for the motor. The PO had the motor rebuilt about a year prior to me buying the wagon.
