Wow, to think I'm almost finished.... (within weeks!...)

New 7 blade fan and HD fan clutch came in the mail today.

I did keep all of the original equipment.

I had to upgrade, reasonably, on things like brakes and steering, and yes, even A/C...

I kept all original parts, so if you want to be miserable with them, you can.

Not going to sell yet. I'l be damned if I don't at least get to enjoy it a bit first!

I agree, If the next owner wants a 100% original Impala, I'll give him the parts I took off. But for now, Id drive the wheels off it.

I agree with most of the other posts......drive it. But I'd still have it looking schmick in all its factory paint and trim. Of course, it'd also be sitting low on nice rims.
Easy to return it to stock if needed with a wheel and spring change.

I'm sorry it took so long to get back to you, but here is a good synopsis, including the initial qtr panel repair and the final full replacement of that left qtr skin as repaired by Shannon Anderson in Austin, IN...

The car is basically done as of this week, and I'll be ready for Spring, if I don't sell it first with the arrival of our son Adam! (He's much better looking, and I get immediate results, with a smile that's worth 10 of these!)

Best wishes.
