Motor & Engine Bay Looking Great!

You may recall that my main reasons for taking the engine out were to fix a crushed oil-pan and also to replace the clutch/pressureplate / pilot bushing.

Whew! I never thought it would take me 2.5 months but I did what I always tend to do. I had to clean things up and make them purty.

I broke out several cans of degreaser, brushes, kerosene, a putty-knife, sand-paper and probably a half dozen cans of spray paint.
I wasn't aiming for "show car",....just "presentable" and not embarassing. I'm very happy with how it turned out.

Since these pics were taken, I've eliminated the blue ground wire from the alternator and ran a new one to the header bolt. You can't even see it. Sweet!

I also painted the top of the radiator with some semi-gloss. I had made it flat black from months ago when I thought I was going to keep the engine bay old/dirty looking. I needed to bring it up to current standards of the rest of the engine bay now.

I still need to order an open element filter setup like someone else recently did (for a 2-barrel) and I still need to find my heater hose clamp/bracket for the passenger side wheel-well.
Other than that, this area is done!
