Finishing up the Floorboards

My welding is getting better & cleaner. This is fun.
Patches put in under the rear seat area, prep'd and painted for good measure.
I forgot to to take a picture of the area after I wire-brushed it and applied Kleen brand Rust Converter after the patch area's were protected.

Some more shots of the final painting using old spray paint I had laying around.

Here's some work on patching up that previous owners self-made shifter hole.

I didn't take a picture but just to make everyone comfortable, i DID (of course) drop in the drain covers. I even used seam sealer and screwed them back in place before dropping in the sound deadener below.

And, finally starting to wrap up the floor work, I drop in the rubber/asphalt sound deadener and carpet.

The carpet is from TrimParts and I chose the cut-pile. I like it a bunch better than that 80/20 loop stuff.
I'll have to wait for a sunny and hot day to roll it out before I go cutting too much.

Looks great but, what did you use to seal the seams? I have the same project going on my 67

I have a can of seam-sealer that purchased from the local Auto Paint Supply store some years ago. (Carpaint)
I've only used it on the drain-plug pieces. I didn't use it for any of the patches since I used full welds around each one.

I do plan on using it where the factory did though when I do my quarter-panel work. Seems more fitting when doing spot-welds. (mind you, I have ZERO training)
